Hi, I’m Marc 👋

I’m a Software Engineer based in Barcelona with a background in computer engineering.

I work mainly with backend systems: building APIs, designing databases, and improving performance for real-world applications. Over the past few years, I’ve worked on high-traffic platforms (especially Moodle-based systems), where reliability, scalability, and clean code really matters.

I enjoy working close to the system level—understanding how things behave in production, debugging issues, and making them faster and more robust. I’ve also worked with CI/CD pipelines and Docker environments, which made me appreciate automation and reproducibility a lot more.

Why this site exists

I have a pretty bad memory.

So instead of forgetting things I learn, I write them down.

This site is basically my external brain — a place where I keep things I find interesting, useful, or worth revisiting, including both technical topics and personal projects or hobbies I’m working on.

Most of what you’ll find here:

  • backend notes
  • small technical discoveries
  • things I’m currently learning
  • random ideas worth keeping
  • projects and hobbies I build or experiment with
